SUMMARY OF THE MISSION

For the Cotton and Cashew sectors, in collaboration with INTERCOTON, the Cotton and Cashew Council, and Ageroute, PSAC is considering the rehabilitation of 248.5 km of rural roads in the PORO, Bagoué, Béré and Gontougo regions of Côte d’Ivoire. The environmental and social categorisation of routes validated by the ANDE (National Environment Agency) shows that two routes classified in the “B” category of the World Bank will have to be the subject of an Environmental Impact Assessment. BPL and its TED partner are involved in this mission. The activities are :

  • Environmental surveys:
  • Socio-economic studies
  • Preparation of reports (EIES, PGES)
