SUMMARY OF THE MISSION
Under the National Rural Electrification Program (PRONER), adopted by the Government in 2013, and implemented by the Ministry of Petroleum, Energy and Renewable Energies (MPEER), through Côte d’Ivoire Energies (CI-ENERGIES), it is planned to make the access of populations to electricity, and the electrification of all localities with at least 500 inhabitants fair.
Description of the services actually rendered by your staff:
- Identification of existing sensitive elements in the project environment;
- Determination of project activities likely to have effects on the environment;
- Collection of the opinions of stakeholders in the project as well as the expectations and concerns of the populations likely to be affected;
- Realisation of community consultations and public consultations;
- Identification, analysis and evaluation of the importance of the potential impacts of the project;
- Proposal of recommendations for the mitigation of negative impacts and the enhancement of positive impacts;
- Preparation of CIES/PGES/PAR reports
