The Government of the Republic of Mali has received financing from the African Development Bank to cover the cost of the 225 kV Guinea-Mali Electricity Interconnection Project (PIEGM) and is allocating part of the proceeds of this financing to payments relating to the consultancy contract for the services of a Consultant Engineer in charge of the control and supervision of the construction works of the electricity distribution networks of the 225 kV Guinea-Mali electricity interconnection project.
The services of this Mission concern the control and supervision of the electrification works in Mali of 80 localities crossed by the 225 kV interconnection line in four separate lots :
LOT 1 : Construction of the 33kV HTA line ridge of 117 mm2 in length 419000m and the electrification of the villages of the municipality of Sanankoroba
LOT 2 : Electrification of villages in the commune of MANDE and the commune of BANKOUMANA
LOT 3 : Electrification of villages in the commune of KANIOGO and the commune of NOUGA
LOT 4 : Electrification of villages in the commune of MINIDIAN and the commune of KARAN
The activities indicated are :
– Assist the UGP in the start-up phase of the work;
– Assister l’UGP dans la gestion des contrats et la supervision des travaux pendant l’exécution du projet et aussi la mise en service des principales installations ;
– Faciliter le démarrage et aussi s’assurer que les garanties appropriées pour la construction, la maintenance et l’exploitation des ouvrages sont en place ;
– Superviser l’exécution et la prise en compte du plan et des systèmes de gestion environnementale et sociale pour le projet ;
– Assister l’UGP pendant la période de garantie de douze (12) mois lorsque requis ; – Assurer une formation sur site et au siège du Consultant pour le personnel homologue de l’UGP
