SUMMARY OF THE MISSION
- Realisation of environmental and social studies and Realisation of the Reinstallation Action Plan
The activities carried out in this mission focussed on:
- Identify the existing sensitive elements in the project environment;
- Determine the project activities likely to have effects on the environment;
- Collect the opinions of stakeholders in the project as well as the expectations and concerns of the populations likely to be affected;
- Realisation of community consultations and public consultations;
- Identify, analyse and evaluate the importance of the potential impacts of the project;
- Propose recommendations for the mitigation of negative impacts and the enhancement of positive impacts;
- Prepare an EIES report and develop an Environmental and Social Management Plan (PGES);
- Realise a Reinstallation Action Plan – PAR report.
